TEACHING
  • So we can get lots of interactions
  • Chat box - lower right hand corner. Find the chat box, say a quick hello. That's where you can put comments & questions throughout today's session.
  • Find my name in Attendees Pod - Khang - Hover over, Start private chat, a tab opened with my name on it.
  • Top of your screen, Feedback tools: Click that hand at top of your screen. That's how you raise hand.
  • If you click drop down menu. Used before, thumb up, first time, thumb down. To clear your feedback status, you can click on the icon again.
  • Draw direction. I make it disappear, now it's back. Click on the T, white space, type your name, click anywhere on the slide and your name will appear for the rest of us. That's how you type directly on the screen.
  • Onscreen check-mark. Square. Double click/ find drop down menu. Find the Check and place checkmark. Give anonymous feedback, put next to answers.
  • Dive into content.
For us to have productive session, there are three very important tools.
>>> Type in a number: What is your energy level right now, from 1 (very tired) to 10 (excited & ready)?

>> Type in a number: How many hours have you spent in front of the computer today?

I like the specificity of "At the left, you'll see 4 tools." - I was wondering how to describe that ribbon, from now I guess "ribbon on the left of the presentation with 4 tool icons" would be my description.
I like how you used the word "confirm" in"Click somewhere else to confirm your text is seen by others."
Ending with "Please let me know if you have any question" is really nice.

I love how conversational and friendly your instructions are, "sunny Vancouver", "loving it", "I'll point out real quick". And I love how you give clear reasons for everything you asked us to do, "please type your name for me to know you found that chat box", "checkmark to verify we understood something",

I love the humor peppered throughout, "that big icon", "click on Step Away - a good way to signal to the presenter that you're away so they'll not call on you". And I really liked how specific you are, "next to your audio & video is the raise hand icon",  "find that small drop down at the corner of the square". And your calm, warm voice was very pleasant to hear.

The frequency of thank-you's, both addressed towards the group and to Jose and me, was really reassuring to hear dear Yukiho. And I so enjoyed your voice! Sweet and clear. :)

I loved how your confidence showed, "Let me show for you how you can do that." "Go ahead and click on that...".

If anyone else runs into the issue with a distorted screen share within Adobe, the troubleshooting steps are as follows:  1. Try reducing share pod quality in AC (Preferences > Share Pod > Quality) 2. Ensure you are sharing the Application and not the whole screen.  If those steps do not resolve the issue, adjust personal screen resolution.  On a PC: Select Start > Settings > System > Display < Display Resolution < select 1600 x 900 or 1280 x 720, ideally.  (Switching to 1280 x 720 resolved the issue in my case!)  Attaching the instructions for Mac users as well. https://helpx.adobe.com/adobe-connect/kb/connect-screen-share-view-distorted.html
